ART!!!
Many art classes include drawing activities.  A high school student works on a still life drawing.  She will do several drawings using a variety of materials such as pencil, markers and ink washes.  Another student creates a floral design using the popular crayon resist technique.
Here is a selection of nice work... a tempera painting, a Picasso-inspired design in oil pastels and a watercolor.
Tile mosaic projects are a popular project with the students also.  The Hawaiin theme works quite well for this sixth grader.  The simple clay figure and handprint on tile will be a keepsake for the mother of this first grader.
I couldn't put this website together without featuring a few pictures of my three-year old grandaughter, Anna.  I think she has a future
in art ahead of her!
